The “Happy Birthday Benedict” 2013 Project

So I had been looking to see if someone had been planning on putting together a package for Benedict’s birthday, but when my search turned up nothing, I decided I would do it myself. Here’s what’s going down: I’ll be collecting various things in a big package to send towards the end of June. I’ll be sending some things of my own, but if you are interested in adding to the package, you can contact me! Here are some ideas of some things you may want to send!

Letters, photographs, postcards, notes, drawings, artwork etc.

Sweets, candy, chocolates (things that won’t go bad after being in the post for a little while)

Basically whatever you can think of to send that is not too big

If you are interested in sending something in this fairly large package to Benedict, please contact me directly, and reblog this so that others who may also be interested can have an opportunity as well! I plan on sending it mid-June (and I will be sending it in my home state, Utah) so that it gets to his agency some time before his birthday. I want him to be able to see what love and respect we have for him on his most important day of the year!

You will need to have anything you want to send delivered to me by June 15, 2013. If you plan on sending something, just let me know in my askbox and I’ll give you my address that you can ship to. Some of you may be asking- why ship it to you when I can just send it straight to his agency? It’s been confirmed that Benedict sees all of the mail and packages he receives but the more people that send items, the better chance it is that he will get these items and possibly respond. He does not have time to respond to all the letters he receives, because he gets upwards of hundreds per week, but one large birthday present would almost certainly catch his attention.

So… that’s it! Start thinking of something you might want to send. I’ll happily print out letters for those who don’t want to mail them, and just help you overall if you are interested in sending Benny a big old 37th birthday present

UPDATE: Alicia (glowingbunny) has graciously offered to collect items for the HPB Project for people living in the UK/Europe area so that you don’t have to send things all the way to the States! If you want to send something to Benedict and you live in that area, contact her! If you live in the States or in the Western hemisphere, contact me! I will send the package of stuff I collect to Alicia towards the end of June, and then she will compile everything she was sent in one big package and pass it on to Benedict.
